Hope For Harlem

At FCBC, we pride ourselves on exemplifying what it means to live, love, and serve. Out of our purpose and passion for the community, we created Hope for Harlem. What started as a relief event amid COVID, has transformed into a community-wide event that provides Harlem residents with vital supplies and resources. It also serves as a beacon of hope and an opportunity for individuals, CBOs, unions, businesses, churches, and organizations to gather and be neighbors.

GET INVOLVED

Hope for Harlem has proved to be a resounding success. Thousands of struggling families in need were helped. In 2022, our sponsors, 50+ vendors, organizations and volunteer efforts enabled us to provide: 750+ pieces of PPE; 1800+ diapers and swaddles; 30+ haircuts; 400 popcorn and cotton candy bags; 781+ ice cream cones; 1000+ backpacks and school supplies; 650+ restaurant donated small bites; 900+ full grocery bags; 900+ bags of fresh produce; 1800+ burgers and hot dogs; tons of vital testing, resources, literature and information to thousands of attendees. Additionally, we provided resources such as: health screenings, a live DJ, giveaways, and prizes.
